Only authorised users can manage users and roles. Custom role availability may depend on your subscription.
Invite a user to the project
Open Settings → Project users and enter your colleague's email. Send the invitation to the address they will use to sign in. Until accepted, it may appear among pending invitations.
Assign the appropriate role
A role determines which project sections a user can view or change. Reading reports does not require permission to manage integrations, users or billing. Name custom roles clearly, for example Marketing, Management or External agency.
Review access when responsibilities change
When responsibilities change, update the role and verify access to the correct projects. Access to one project does not automatically grant access to others. Sensitive metrics, billing and integration management should remain limited to people who need them.
Remove access promptly
When a user stops working on the project, remove them or cancel an unused invitation. Also review external services and active MCP connections if that person used them.
Do not use one shared account for the whole team. Individual accounts make access removal easier and keep permission ownership clear.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't a user see the same section as me?
Check their role, access to the correct project and whether the feature is included in the subscription. Permissions are separate for every project.
Can the whole team use one account?
We do not recommend it. Individual accounts support minimum permissions, clear access ownership and safe removal of former team members.
