This setting is available for projects with an order source and to users with the relevant permission.
Why statuses matter
A store may contain new, paid, dispatched, completed, cancelled and test orders. DATIXO needs to know which represent genuine business results. Incorrect classification affects revenue, order count and marketing metrics.
Assign every status to one category
Open Settings → Order statuses and assign every source-store status a DATIXO meaning. Completed orders are included in management reports. Accepted orders represent business still in progress and are used together with completed orders in marketing reports. Cancelled orders are excluded from performance reports.
Follow the actual business meaning
Completed should contain orders your business considers fulfilled. Accepted should contain only valid orders that can still be completed. Put cancellations, tests and failed orders into Cancelled. Status names differ across stores, so decide by the real process rather than the label alone.
Verify reports after a change
Save the changes and check order count, cancellations and revenue in a known closed period. Compare the result with the source system. If you are unsure how to classify a status, send support its name and a description of what it means operationally.
After changing the mapping, compare a closed period before and after the adjustment. If revenue changes significantly, inspect the relevant statuses in the source store.
Frequently asked questions
Are accepted orders included in reports?
Accepted orders are used together with completed orders in marketing reports. Management reports use completed orders.
How should test and failed orders be classified?
Classify them as cancelled so they do not increase revenue, order count or marketing-channel performance.
Why did history change after editing statuses?
The mapping determines which orders enter calculations. Reports can therefore recalculate the same period according to the new business meaning.
